ABOUT

Who am I & Why do I write

I LOVE and pretty much live to write. I have a background in Finance, therefore when I first started to write professionally I naturally wrote for the industry, and I still do. However, my real joy can be found in the place where I get happily lost most days. Motivational, inspirational and thought provoking work on the soul. The kind of work that digs deep, REALLY deep!

I am deeply spiritual but I am not religious. My beliefs have changed a great deal over the years, either through circumstance or personal experience. My novel explains this much better! Writing my novel was not only therapeutic, but also necessary in my own path to healing from the inside out. My novel will tell you who I was, how I struggled, along with the bad choices I made over and over again.

The discovery of self love is a journey everyone should embark on, toward a destination once reached (if that is truly possible), that will feel like coming home. The first important step is to get over the fear, (your imagined fear) of travelling that path alone, and the second is to enjoy the authenticity of the true self, however and in whatever way that is revealed to you. So, who am I? I know who I am today, but my perception of that could just as easily change tomorrow. I am learning more and more about that seemingly simple question, the "I AM" question.

"I AM a dreamer and a believer!"

I believe in dreams, and that they can come true! Dreams can be realised if you never give up on them. I don't dream the impossible dream - because to me, everything is possible! My dream occurs not while sleeping, but during my waking day, every day. I believe our passion in life is chosen for us.

You will inevitably fail, and I sincerely hope that you never fail in the ways that I did!

I worked extremely hard for writing gigs with very little sleep and never got paid. People stopped replying to my emails or phonecalls just to avoid having to pay me for the work that I did, money promised that almost left me homeless ...but here's the thing.

I DIDN'T walk away, I didn't quit. I sat down and prepared myself for more work, the next offer, the NEXT opportunity, I studied my craft, looked at what others were doing, and then I stopped and told myself "It doesn't matter what others are doing, keep doing what you do, it will work, it will come to you in the way that it is meant to, in divine timing."

"The world is not all sunshine and rainbows, it's a mean and nasty place at times, and I don't care how tough you are - LIFE can beat you to your knees and keep you there if you let it. No one and nobody is going to hit you as hard as life. It's not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit. Keep moving forward - that's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth, go out and GET what you're worth. But you've got to be willing to take the hits, not pointing fingers because you're not where you want to be because of him, or her or anybody - cowards do that, and THAT is not YOU! You're better than that." - Sylvester Stallone -

"You have to, NO you MUST ask yourself, "Who do I want to be, not what ...WHO?"

NEVER forget that you are more powerful than you can ever imagine!

The future is unlimited.
